credibility.factors

The credibility factors of ASME V&V 40 and their status in the assessment.

Every factor is reported for every context of use, also the ones the assessment does not assess, so a reader sees what is missing: assessed from the evidence of the context, platform for a statement which holds for the whole stack and not_assessed with the step of the credibility work which will assess it. The factors of the verification (discretization error, numerical solver error, use error) are assessed when an assessment is verified, see sbmlsim.credibility.verification. An evidence extension assesses a factor for a context of use with a statement of its own (sbmlsim.credibility.extensions.ContextContribution.factors), which combine_factor combines with the statement of the core.

combine_factor

combine_factor(record, statements)

Combine the record of a factor of the core with the statements of the extensions.

The statement is the statements of the extensions before the core (FactorStatement.before_core), the statement of the core and the statements of the extensions after it, each group in the order of the statements (the order of the extensions of the project). The statement of the core is the one of its record unless the record is not assessed, whose statement only names what will assess it. A factor with a statement of an extension is assessed and has no step; without one the record is the one of the core.
